Robert J O’Brien

He has been painting in the watercolor medium for 40 years. He is a signature member of the American and National Watercolor Societies. He is a full time artist and instructor.

Robert recently won, in 2011, The Virginia Avery Award at the New England Watercolor Society’s Juried Member Exhibition in Boston. The Award of Excellence at the 3rd Annual Vermont Watercolor Society’s juried show in Grafton Vt. and Honorable Mention at the 61st Academic Artists National Exhibition. His work was featured in the Creative Workshop section in the February 2011 issue of Watercolor Artist magazine and in 2009, Splash 11, the Best of Watercolor. Continue reading
